The summer technology session will discuss how collaboration, technology, and creativity will help increase both teacher and student engagement. Get your groove on this summer through the many technology professional development sessions geared at both teacher and student use!
Wednesday, May 29 - Creating a Classroom Website Using Weebly -- 10 am to 11 am
Come get your groove on and create a website you are proud to share! This hands on workshop will show the basics of starting your classroom website through the use of Weebly.
Thursday, May 30 -- All the Basics of Technology -- 10 am to 11 am
Needing a refresher course in all the basics such as creating folders, organizing folder in Google Docs, uploading files, downloading files, etc. Need anything else? This session will help you get your organizational groove on!
Friday, June 7 -- Google Forms -- 10 am to 11 am
Come get your form creating groove on! In this session, learn how to create Google Forms for surveys and student quizzes or to collect any other type of information. The information will be collected in a spreadsheet and you will be able to access, view, and filter your results.
Friday, June 7 -- Google Slides -- 11 am to 12 pm
Continue the Google learning with Google Slides. Create online presentations which will show off your creativity visually. This session will go over how to create presentations, import presentations, and finally how to download presentations.
Thursday, June 13 -- Evernote -- 10 am to 11 am
Evernote is an amazing tool for capturing information, storing information, and accessing information. You can also collaborate and share information. Learn the basic of using Evernote as an organizational tool!
Thursday, June 13 -- Get Groovy with Web. 2.0 Tools -- 11 am to 12 pm
Come learn about different Web 2.0 tools directed at creativity, productivity and classroom management. Sit back, learn and take a look at Pinterest, Thinglink, Smore, Today's Meet, Infuse Learning, Meograph, Edmodo, TubeChop, and Educanvas.
Monday, August 5 -- From iPad Consumption to Creation -- 10 am to 11 am
Students have plenty of apps for drill and practices. Go beyond consumption of iPads to iPad creation in the classroom. Bring your creativity and get your groove on while learning about apps that foster creativity in your students. (This session is for advanced iPad users.)
Monday, August 5 -- iMovie, YouTube & You -- 11 am to 12 pm
Come find out how to create quick movies and upload to YouTube. Intrigued yet? Find out how you can create a YouTube channel, plus add to our newly created school YouTube channel!
Tuesday, August 6 -- iPad the Basics -- 10 am to 11:30 am
This session is for the beginning iPad user. Learn how to navigate the iPad, take screen shots, use your camera, redeem codes, update apps and iPad software, and finally how to create folders.
